Post Parisian Era
Saturday, June 19, 2010 Good good day my dear people! Let me tell you right off the bat that never has a good night sleep, a shower and a cup of coffee felt this good. I can also tell you that j'aime Paris. This Paris trip was like a dangerously good love affair: it had those moments when you just want to quit and go home because you hurt all over and are uncomfortable, but then overall it's so amazing that you don't even give a shit. This is what I learnt in Paris: never leave your money or your IDs in your bag, always stick them somewhere where no one can reach (my wallet was stolen, in it 120e and my train card), shops on the Champs-Elysees are amazing but completely overrated, waking up at 6.30 and walking until 22.00 in crappy shoes is a bad idea, French people don't like it when people dance around in thongs singing "I can be a freak, I can I can be a freak" on the side walk (not that I did, I was just present), French people hate sucking at football, the Eiffel tower is quite tall, sneaking out at not sleeping until 5-6 am due to being... busy is completely worth it the next day. It's been less than 24hours and I already miss everyone. It's like now I've returned somewhere that's not my home any more- the people I live with don't know how I am. I'll have all the artistic pictures up tomorrow, but today I want to stick some memories here, the moments I miss the most. Labels: awesome trip and all that jazz, france, paris |
